I knew about Turmeric. A while ago I bought a book about Healing Spices. Good I love many of the healthy spices. Except for ginger, no matter how hard I try.. my taste buds do not like that one.

You constantly amaze, Spardha! Thanks for this. I had just purchased turmeric at my daughter’s request. Don’t know how to cook with it yet, so I’ll try it in milk, but honestly… will milk hide its flavor or will that taste good. Stay tuned… I’ll let you know what I find out. Hey..turmeric roots are generally dried , powdered and used for edible purpose. It’s better if you get it from a store,since I don’t think the leaves are used.
